The Association Divadelná Nitra is a main organiser of the International
Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra – the largest theatre event in
Slovakia and a renowned festival in the Central Europe. Divadelná Nitra
is held annually at the end of September in regional Slovak city Nitra.
Festival is known for its conceptual program created as a reaction to
serious issues in current society, for a focus on inspirational,
innovative, young artists and multigenre and multidisciplinary
overlaps. Besides the Festival, Association develops numerous
educational activities, volunteering and co-production projects.
