The fifth edition of the European Spectactors Day
It’s a community-based event dedicated to the groups of active spectators and curators taking part in the activities implemented in the framework of Be SpectACTive!, and also to other people and professionals interested in the engagement practices.
How does it work?
The event takes physically – and simultaneously – place in all the venues of the cultural organisations involved: all the participants are linked through the dedicated facebook group, in order for people to connect both offline (in their locations) and online (all together). During the event, the participants debate the same topics related to culture, theatre and dance, starting from 3 questions defined by the Be SpectACTive team. It is an opportunity to create new forms of interaction, giving people a comfortable virtual space of dialogue dedicated to their own experiences in the performing arts’ field.
“The European Spectators Day is a great occasion to connect people, citizens, spectators sharing experiences, memories and thoughts about the performing arts – said Giuliana Ciancio and Luca Ricci, creators and curators of Be SpectACTive! – We really love the idea of on-line and off-line interconnection of local areas having fun.”
