Stora Teatern is a performing arts venue in Gothenburg presenting both
Swedish and international guest performances within dance, theatre,
contemporary circus, music and other performing art forms. Stora Teatern
also functions as a resource for the city’s and region’s independent
performing arts scene. Stora Teatern operates within the Department of
Cultural Affairs in the City of Gothenburg. The Gothenburg Dance and
Theatre Festival is an international performing arts festival taking
place biannually for ten days in August, in the great city of Gothenburg
with surroundings.
